The Blachford Acoustics Laboratory and Technical Centre helps OEMs design the best units possible by predicting much of the acoustical and thermal environment early in the design phase, often at the CAD model stage. Acoustical and thermal materials can then be integrated into the design and even into the product components themselves. Not only can the technical centre help our customers meet noise, sound quality, and thermal requirements before products go to market; this process also ensures that weight and cost are kept to an absolute minimum.
As our customer requirements change, we are constantly developing new formulas for our products. Blachford compounds and manufactures our own barriers, dampers, and cast absorbers.
