Value Engineering
Our customers are constantly looking for ways to reduce the cost and weight of their products as a means of gaining market share. One powerful way to realize these goals is to develop a thorough understanding of product noise sources and paths. During our value engineering studies, we measure specific parts of a currently installed acoustical package to determine the value of each part or component. Special instrumentation, software, and unique test facilities in the Blachford Technical Center are capable of providing a detailed analysis of the sound and vibration frequency content, sources and paths. After our measurements and analysis are complete, we can then reduce the product manufacturing costs by eliminating unnecessary parts, and reducing the weight as well as the complexity of the final package.
